latinamericais...

  • Hungry for clean tech innovations due to a more progressive political shift.

  • Rich in natural resources with potential for clean power expansion (40% of world copper and two thirds of Lithium reservers critical for clean tech solutions).

  • Net zero emissions programs in Colombia and Chile (2050).

  • Respectful of UK businesses - UK professionalism and expertise is valued but we've been slow to take advantage of this. Get ahead of the game!

  • Quickly growing in attractiveness compared to other regions. This will only increase over the next decade.

  • An opportunity for great rewards if you manage the risks appropriately.

  • A lot of fun doing business there!

to help you hit the ground running

As a native Latin American who has now lived in the UK for 15 years, I know what it’s like to try to navigate a place that seems so distant and bewildering…different language, business culture, bureaucratic barriers as well as the day-to-day differences: timezones, weather & food!

I’m a MBA engineer who’s run a successful coffee import business so I understand the bigger picture, but as a Latin American I understand what it really takes to succeed in this Region.

“We worked with Luz over a few years importing direct trade coffee from Colombia.

She is very professional, communicated to us perfectly the process and was pleasant to deal with.

It's very important for us to establish these direct trade relationships and we need the likes of Luz to facilitate it. ”

15 years ago I came from Colombia to study in the UK. Full of dreams and ideas, I wanted to share Colombian excellence with my new home. So, I started a coffee import business, forging mutually beneficial relationships between LatAm farmers and UK roasters.

I understand the barriers to trading globally, however cultural differences, languages, time zones should never stop an exciting business idea.

After a career in the corporate world it's clear that connecting people and building relationships to make great things happen is a core strength I can use to help you succeed in LatAm.
